Having GPRS/EDGE services activated against your Ufone number can sometimes be a real pain and failing to get it correctly configured adds to the misery.

There are actually 3 different APNs that Ufone uses for EDGE depending on the type of connection that you have. What you need mainly is the name and APN but still here is the complete settings in case nothing is working for you.

Prepaid:

Name: Ufone

APN: ufone.pinternet

MCC: 410

MNC: 03

Postpaid:

Name: Ufone

APN: ufone.internet

MCC: 410

MNC: 03

Black Berry Services:

If you happen to be using a blackberry with Blackberry services activated and decide to pop the SIM into another smartphone temporarily you would need to make slight adjustment to your APN settings.

Name: Ufone

APN: umail.internet

MCC: 410

MNC: 01

*. Please note that the MCC and the MNC settings are sometimes already present so just enter the correct APN. Usually in Android smart phones.
