You might be wondering why would anyone be needing another file sharing service when we have Dropbox around? The thing is that Dropbox requires your recipient to have a Dropbox account to receive file(s) which would be okay if you are sharing stuff with your colleagues or friends but not good with acquaintances or people are work that you are never going to see again.
So today we are going to talk about this awesome service called We Transfer; a website with a slick interface allowing you to share files with anyone having an email address. All you have to do is to enter the recipients email address, your own email address and an optional short note, Press upload and you are good to go! There is no extra bloatware or annoyances, just a clean menu that means business
We Transfer is really good and reliable way of sending files around instantly and without hassle!
And while your file is uploading you get to see this animated round progress bar along with nice pleasing visuals in the background.
There is of course a max 2gb upload limit and your uploaded file remains valid for 2 weeks, this I believe is not such a bad trade off considering that the service is free, uploads and downloads are super fast! besides 2 weeks is enough time for your recipient to download it.
