Review: Streetfood Tycoon

Written by

Street Food Tycoon is an innovative new game released by Kuyi Mobile. It is currently one of the top-rated free apps in the UK app store. If you were a fan of the original Lemonade Tycoon you are going to love this. Sadly though Street Food Tycoon is currently available on iOS devices only.

The game starts off by giving you some options to get money in order to start your own street food business. You can get a loan, ask your parents for some cash, Break your piggy bank, or pawn your childhood toys to acquire the required funds. From these funds you buy the needed items to start your business (e.g., Food cart, legal permits etc.) and then, the actual game starts. People come up to you, and tell you their order and you have to match the exact same thing to satisfy your customer.

However, if you get the order wrong, the customer walks away unsatisfied, without even paying you. With time your stock finishes and it takes a while and a few coins to replenish it. You also have to clean your cart from time to time.

As the game progresses various upgrades become available. You can also choose to move to other cities. This allows you to expand your business and earn more.

The game does have a few downsides. For one, there is no way you can replenish your stock before it completely finishes. This can be a bit of a disadvantage as the next customer may want something that requires the ingredient which is out of stock, which is almost always the case, and they might walk away before you get a chance to start working on their order. The game only supports iOS Devices at the moment, which really sucks for those of you who have Android. Also, the background music can get a bit annoying at times.

All in all, this is one of the most addictive games I’ve ever played and you should be sure to check it out at the App Store.
