NBC Olympics, a division of NBC Sports Group, has launched an application which will offer its users an opportunity to watch the Olympics Event Live on their mobile devices for Free. It is available on both Android & iOS mobile devices.

The application description on iTunes states: “In addition to watching all the live action, during the Olympics, enhance your viewing experience with alternate camera views, plus full replays on-the-go! You can follow your favorite events and sports, and receive push notifications for event start times.”

The application is very neatly designed. Navigation options are as follows: Sports, Schedule & Favorites. Under the Sports section there is a complete list of all the sports being played at the Olympics.

You can add any sport to your favorites to receive notifications about it. And when you select any specific sport you get to view videos related to it. For example when you click Archery, it shows videos like “How to Hit a Bullseye”.

The only draw-back is that this application is restricted to viewers in United States and certain United States territories.

After this latest development, do you plan to watch Olympics on your mobile device?

Click Here to download the application from iTunes.
